There are a total of 13 training modules included in this online training course that cover key areas of First Aid at Work. These modules include:
- Module 1 Understanding the role and responsibilities of a first-aider
- Module 2 Assessing an incident
- Module 3 Managing an unresponsive casualty
- Module 4 Recognising and assisting a choking casualty
- Module 5 Managing a casualty – external bleeding and shock
- Module 6 Managing a casualty – minor injury
- Module 7 Conducting a secondary survey
- Module 8 Administering first aid to a casualty with injuries to their bones
- Module 9 Administering first aid to a casualty with head and spinal injuries
- Module 10 Administering first aid to a casualty with suspected chest injuries
- Module 11 Administering first aid to a casualty with burns or eye injuries
- Module 12 Administering first aid to a casualty with sudden poisoning or anaphylaxis
- Module 13 Administering first aid to a casualty with a major illness

Learner Outcomes
Learners will gain understanding in key knowledge areas of First Aid at Work.
On successfully completing the online First Aid at Work training course Learners will be given access to a verified PDF certificate of completion to print and save. Their training administrator (usually the person who placed the order) will also have access to the Learners' certificates for their records.
Please note: This online training course is designed to cover key learning topics of First Aid at Work, but completing the online course will not grant you a full first aid qualification itself, as the training and exam for this must be taken in-person. You will however receive an eLearning certificate of completion upon successfully passing the course, making it a great choice for blended learning programmes, or as an induction, refresher or revision tool. An interactive online training course giving an introduction to first aid in the workplace, the roles of a first-aider and basic first aid skills.
This course is designed to cover key knowledge elements of a three day in-person First Aid course, and covers understanding the roles and responsibilities of a First Aider, assessing an incident and managing casualties in a variety of situations.

There are no minimum requirements and you can train as many delegates as you like with online learning however for effective onsite training the recommendation is one trainer to ever 12 delegates. Therefore if you need say 20 people training all at once at your premises on a particular day we would send two trainers in this instance.
